Yesterday I opened the kiln and this is what it looked like. I am happy to announce no pieces were lost in this firing, and that makes me happy. This is what everything looked like once I got them all out
Do you like what you see? Well come back Thursday because I will have a giveaway of one of those birds and beads. I need to do one more firing to complete the sets and take pictures.
gorgeous, yoli!

ReplyDeleteThanks for posting what the kiln load looks like I have yet to try my bead rack and I'm going to give it a try one of these days, now that I have found it.
ReplyDeleteThank you Natalie, Joan and Linda for stopping by. Opening the kiln is the culmination of hours of work
ReplyDeleteand that element of wowness can't be compared.
Linda I have everything all over the place, that studio needs a good cleaning. Glad you found your rack, if not you could use kiln furniture like I do to make rows going up and the furniture keeps the wire from sagging.
Ok, I am going to go grab one of Riley's bibs while I look at all those beads… Major drooling going on… WOW!
ReplyDeleteI totally adore your kiln loading and firing pictures. And I am so happy they came out. Actually they came out really well. Beautiful. You will have fun with these.
ReplyDeleteThank you Marsha and Mary. I wish I could just stare at them forever and let them run through my hand... but not possible, gotta list them!
