I did a post last month about
working with black clay the picture above is from some pieces in the bisque stage. Below are the results after the glaze firing. Will let the pictures do the talking. What do you think? I think they look prettier in the bisque stage..... darn! Luckily I only glazed half so I will play with the other half and other glazes, but will not expect much. Have a great Friday!

your textures are lovely..you might experiment with bisking then rubbing in underglazes that are mixed with a tiny bit of wide range clear glaze..just a little spoonful of underglaze and a drop or two of glaze to vitrify..if the glaze can handle it underfire just a bit will give a more brown tone than the strong black..
I think they're beautiful, Yoli!
I'm really liking the black clay! It's really interesting!
Thank you Nan, I will try it with the next batch.
Thank you Carol and Bella! I'm starting to like them but need to stare at them a bit more to fully love them....lol.
Pretty they look like chic! They remind me of fancy chocolates.ol!
I like them.
I like the before ones better too. But I still like the after ones as well.
I actually like them quite a bit! If I wasn't already working with three clay bodies I would love to try that one.
Thank you ladies! I think they are starting to grow on me. Diana, I hear you about different clays I have a couple bags of other clays lined up already.....
